Mangal dosha — checked properly

Beyond the score, we check whether your active dasha legs sync over the marriage window. A 28/36 score with mismatched dasha is worse than a 22/36 with matched dasha — this is what the texts actually emphasise.

27/36 is solid — above the 18/36 classical minimum threshold and within the 24-28 range that most matched couples land in. The relevant question is not the headline number but which kootas are low. In your case, nadi is 0/8 (same nadi, classical concern), but Jupiter aspects both Moons (cancellation rule per BPHS Striveda 28). FAQ

What is the minimum acceptable score?

Classical threshold is 18/36. Below 18 the texts recommend re-examining the match. 18-24 = workable with care. 24-30 = strong. 30+ is rare and usually involves a koota or two scoring perfect.

Is Mangal dosha really that important?

It is important when present, but it is over-flagged by most online tools because they check from Lagna only and ignore the classical cancellation rules. Done properly (Lagna + Moon + Venus, with cancellations applied), only ~12% of charts carry a real Mangal dosha — not the 50%+ that some apps claim.

Is kundli matching free?

Do you store the other person’s birth details?

Only with both parties’ consent (you confirm a checkbox). Otherwise the second chart is computed and immediately discarded after the report is produced.
