Is My Energy free?

Is this a daily energy reading?
No, and we would rather say so than let the name mislead you. My Energy reads the element balance fixed at your birth — your Lagna and the nine grahas in your chart do not move, so this reading does not change from day to day. For today's planetary energy, the daily horoscope reads today's transits and your running dasha against your own chart.
How is the dominant element worked out?
Every rashi carries one of the four material elements, and every graha carries its own tattva: Sun, Mars and Ketu are Fire; Moon and Venus are Water; Mercury is Earth; Saturn and Rahu are Air; Jupiter is Ether. Your Lagna adds the element of its rising sign, each of the nine grahas adds its own, and the counts are tallied. The highest is your dominant element; the next is the one that supports it. That is why this is not the same as reading the element of your Moon sign.
What if I do not know my birth time or place?
Then only the Moon can be placed, and the page says so: you get an estimate from the Moon sign alone. That estimate ignores birth time and can name the neighbouring rashi. Add your birth time and place to your profile and the whole chart — Lagna plus all nine grahas — is used instead; the reading usually changes a good deal.
Where do the six life-domain scores come from?
Career, wealth, love and marriage, health, family and spiritual growth, each scored 0–100. The backbone is your Sarvashtakavarga — the classical bindu count per house — blended with the dignity of each domain's natural karaka planet. The same chart always gives the same scores, and if the Ashtakavarga cannot be computed the card is hidden rather than filled with invented numbers.
