FAQ
Is the numerology reading free?
My Numbers — Moolank, Bhagyank, Naamank, the Lo Shu grid, your lucky set and your personal year — is free. You need a MyPanditji account, because the numbers are worked out from the name and date of birth on your profile; the account costs nothing. Three tools open with Pro — Contact Number, Business Name and Name Fix — and Baby Name opens with Max.
What is the difference between Moolank and Bhagyank?
Moolank, the root number, is the digit sum of the day you were born: the 18th gives 1 + 8 = 9. Bhagyank, the destiny number — the life path number in Western numerology — is the digit sum of your whole date of birth, and 11, 22 and 33 are kept as master numbers rather than reduced further. Each number has a ruling graha: 1 Surya, 2 Chandra, 3 Guru, 4 Rahu, 5 Budh, 6 Shukra, 7 Ketu, 8 Shani, 9 Mangal.
Which system does the name number use — Chaldean or Pythagorean?
Chaldean, for the Naamank. It is the table Cheiro and Ank Jyotish use for names, and in it no letter is ever worth 9. The Pythagorean number (A = 1 through I = 9, then repeating) is shown beside it, clearly labelled, but is never the primary name number here. Business names and name compatibility use the Chaldean table too.
What is the Lo Shu grid?
A 3 × 3 square — 4 9 2 over 3 5 7 over 8 1 6 — that shows which of the digits 1 to 9 appear in your date of birth, and how many times. Missing numbers point to lessons; repeated ones, to strengths.
How is a phone number or business name scored?
By the Ank maitri matrix — the classical 9 × 9 table of friendly, neutral and unfriendly numbers. The tool reduces your number to a single digit and checks it against both your Moolank and your Bhagyank: friendly to one and not clashing with the other is lucky; clashing with no friend is avoid. It then lists concrete numbers, or spellings, that land on a friendly digit.
Can I ask Panditji what my numbers mean?
Yes. Below your numbers, Ask Panditji opens the chat with your Moolank, Bhagyank, Naamank and lucky set already filled in, so they are explained, not recomputed. The numerology chat is grounded in Cheiro's Book of Numbers and Ank Jyotish, cites the passages it retrieved, and says plainly when it is giving general guidance. Numerology is tradition, not proof.
