Is the palm reading free?
No — palm reading is a Pro feature. Pro and Max plans can read palms; a free account is asked to upgrade before a photo is analysed. The 7-day trial on the monthly Pro plan (once per account) includes it, so you can have your palm read before you are charged. This page, and the description of what the reading covers, is free to read.
How do I take the photo?
On a computer, the app shows a QR code. Scan it with any phone camera — the capture page opens with no app and no login — take the photos there, and the reading lands back on your computer screen. On a phone, the app takes the photo with the phone's camera on the spot. On a phone the right palm is required and the left optional; the QR capture page asks for both. JPEG, PNG and WebP are accepted. In the app on a phone the photo is compressed before upload; from the QR capture page it is sent as taken (up to 6 MB).
What if the photo is not clear?
Every photo is checked before a word of the reading is written: it has to show a human hand, palm side up, whole hand in frame, with the major lines legible. If it fails, you are told exactly what to fix — blurry, too dark, over-exposed, fingers curled, part of the hand cut off — instead of being handed a guessed reading. Soft, even daylight with the palm flat and fingers slightly spread reads best. Once a reading is saved, the app shows it back to you rather than asking for another photo; if the first photo was unclear, you can change it once.
Which palmistry texts does it read from?
Seven: Cheiro's Language of the Hand, Benham's Laws of Scientific Hand Reading, Comte de Saint-Germain's Practice of Palmistry, Heron-Allen's Manual of Cheirosophy, Katharine St. Hill's Grammar of Palmistry, and the Indian Samudrika Shastra and Hast Samudrika Shastra — the hast rekha tradition. Relevant passages are retrieved for the features seen in your hand, and each claim in the reading is cited to the passage it came from; a claim with no supporting passage is described from what is seen, without an invented citation.
Does the life line show how long I will live?
No, and the reading says so explicitly — life-line length is read for vitality and will, not lifespan. The reading also gives no exact dates (only windows such as "mid-thirties"), makes no medical claims beyond "consult a physician", and only describes features that are actually visible in your photo.
What happens to my palm photo?
You give consent before it is sent. The photo is stored privately, used only for the reading, and may be deleted on request. The reading itself is saved to your journal automatically, and you can open a chat with Panditji about it with the reading attached.
